The use of manual muscle testing to evaluate body function was first used by Dr George H Goodheart, an American chiropractor, in 1964, who developed the original work of muscle-testing advocates Kendall and Kendall. Applied Kinesiology has been researched and developed considerably since then, rapidly spreading round the world as Touch for Health under the aegis of The International College of Applied Kinesiology. Kinesiology was subsequently introduced into the UK by Mr Brian Butler as Systematic Kinesiology and is regularly updated with ICAK’s latest research by Dr Sheldon Deal, a chiropractor and naturopath, so
it has been widely tested and produces excellent results. |
